Smokefree Apartments Maps

OCCHD and the TSET Healthy Living Program serving Oklahoma County have launched a smokefree apartments map on their website. Finding a smokefree apartment can be difficult, but this useful tool, which features many smokefree apartment complexes across the county can help ease the search process for potential residents.

The map can be found at

“I’ve spoken with a lot of people who smell their neighbor’s smoke in their own apartment homes.” said Lauran Larson of the TSET Healthy Living Program. “Finding smokefree housing is a big concern for many people so having this map will be a big help.”

A 2015 state health department survey found that 82 percent of Oklahoma adults – including 64 percent of smokers – agree that apartment and condominium complexes should provide smokefree housing options.

While this map was developed primarily for residents, it is also a great free advertising tool for complexes who have chosen to make this healthy business decision.

The TSET Healthy Living Program of Oklahoma County provides free assistance to local property managers to develop a plan to go smokefree in a way that works best for their individual needs. For more information email
