Health at Work Toolkit
Oklahoma Health at Work Toolkit is an important step in improving the health and productivity of companies. The Wellness Now Coalition-Health at Work helps employers develop effective worksite wellness programs to increase physical activity and healthy eating at the worksite. Health at Work reaches not only adults at work, but also carries over to families, which benefits both the company and the employee. The Oklahoma Health at Work Toolkit was developed by Health at Work for businesses to create a foundation within the workplace for better health and increased productivity. This Toolkit was designed and tested to make it easy to plan, implement, and evaluate a wellness program at your worksite.
For a copy of the toolkit please contact Janet Irvin at email@example.com or 405-419-4122.
Health at Work Coalition
The OKC Wellness Coalition is a community group of wellness coordinators, employee health nurses, and others interested in worksite wellness. The group meets monthly to discuss worksite wellness in Oklahoma County, learn from speakers, collaborate on projects to benefit the business community, and network to enhance current wellness programs. The group meets at OCCHD’s NE Regional Health and Wellness Center, 2600 NE 63rd Street, OKC, OK, 73111. The meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.
Employee Interest Surveys
To help businesses increase employee participation in a wellness program, Health at Work staff are trained to conduct confidential, one-on-one interviews with your employees. Our surveys are a free service and help you assess the health attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors of a given employee population and serves as an informational tool when planning new programs and policies. The purpose is to determine which factors motivate participation and identify employee interests relating to wellness. OCCHD staff will conduct confidential surveys to a random selection of your employees and offer you an executive summary with recommendations to enhance your program.
