Update to Mobile Food Truck Licensing
The City of Oklahoma City recently approved a few ordinance changes that went into effect August 27, 2014. Mobile food trucks can now purchase an annual special event license. This means that food trucks will now be permitted to set up and sell at any special event without purchasing a single special event license. The mobile food service program at OCCHD ensures proper licensing, inspection, and education of mobile food vendors throughout Oklahoma County. The program also serves as a guide by providing potential vendors with all the steps required for legal operation in Oklahoma County, as well as proper construction of a mobile food vehicle. We work hand in hand with the vendor to ensure that all processes involved with licensing, education, and inspection are informative and happen as quickly as possible.
