Join us for the next three months on a journey to help Oklahoma lose weight! Take It Off Oklahoma is a three-month weight loss challenge coordinated by FOX 25 News and the Oklahoma City-County Health Department (OCCHD).

What is the goal of the program?
Each participant who joins the competition will be given a goal to lose 5 percent of their body weight during the three-month period.


Competition Rules

• All participants must be over the age of 18 at the date of sign-up.
• Participants must participate in a single format for each weigh-in.
o In-person weigh-ins must be done in person for each weigh-in.
▪ In-person weigh-ins can be done at either location.
o Online weigh-ins must be done online for each weigh-in.
▪ All registration for the Healthie® telehealth platform and online forms must be completed in full by 11:59PM on the start date of the competition.
▪ Online weigh-ins must be uploaded as a photo, on the same scale, in bare feet, on a digital scale that is clearly legible in the photo.
▪ Weigh-ins must be submitted by 11:59PM the date of each weigh-in.
• To be eligible for competition prizes, participants must begin the competition during the first month weigh-in and attend at least the first and third weigh-ins during the competition.
• All prizes must be picked up in person.
o Biggest Loser prizes will be awarded live on FOX25’s Living Oklahoma segment the Tuesday following the competition end date.
o Prize participants have 24 hours from the time contacted about winning to confirm attendance at the live broadcast.
▪ Recipients who do not confirm and/or cannot attend the live prize distribution will forfeit any prize earned.
o 5% weight loss prize drawing winners have 48 hours to confirm acceptance and schedule pick up.
▪ Pick up must be scheduled at an Oklahoma City-County Health Department building between 8:00AM and 4:30PM, Monday through Friday.
▪ Prizes must be picked up within 5 business days of confirming acceptance, otherwise they will be forfeited.


Masks are required for all participants attending the in-person weigh-ins. Participants must socially distance themselves and remain 6 feet away from others during the weigh-in. No participant who is feeling sick or has been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days should attend an in-person weigh-in.

If a participant misses one of the monthly weigh-in sessions, no weight will be recorded for that month. If the final month of the competition is missed, the participant’s weight from the previous months weigh in will be used as their final weight.

All participants must be able to stand unassisted in an upright position on a raised medical grade scale and stand still for an appropriate amount of time to read their weight. Participants who are unable to meet this criterion will be excluded from the competition.

No participant will be excluded from the competition based on city of residence.
