Wellness Now partners include schools, health care professionals, elected officials from all levels of government, faith-based and community-based organizations, and private sector companies. Close to 100 partners are taking part in this effort to transform Oklahoma City and County into a healthy and well community.
“Wellness Now provides a unique opportunity for collegial, multidisciplinary committees to share perspectives, evaluate assets and needs, and identify opportunities. Our work will result in the delivery of health interventions and policies that are necessary to reverse chronic illness and health inequity that plagues children and adults in Oklahoma City and County.”
—Angela Jones, Director of Health and Wellness Initiatives, YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City
