SWAT Mission
To empower and unite youth to resist and expose Big Tobacco’s lies while changing current attitudes about tobacco.
Youth Empowerment
SWAT is a youth-led, youth-driven movement that empowers teens to stand up, speak out, and take action against the tobacco industry, which targets them as a replacement market.
SWAT Teams
SWAT teams are part of the statewide program and collaborate with their Community Coordinator or SWAT Regional Coordinator.
Adult Partners
Adult partners serve as team trainers, mentors, and coaches.
SWAT Activity Guide and Website
Use of the SWAT Activity Guide helps teams stay on mission while conducting effective, population-based community activities. The SWAT website also provides a wealth of resource information to help local teams and partners identify strategies to combat Big Tobacco.
