Health at Work Coalition
The OKC Wellness Coalition is a community group of wellness coordinators, employee health nurses, and others interested in worksite wellness. The group meets monthly to discuss worksite wellness in Oklahoma County, learn from speakers, collaborate on projects to benefit the business community, and network to enhance current wellness programs. For more information, please visit the Health at Work website.
Employee Interest Surveys
To help businesses increase employee participation in a wellness program, Health at Work staff are trained to conduct confidential, one-on-one interviews with your employees. Our surveys are a free service and help you assess the health attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors of a given employee population and serves as an informational tool when planning new programs and policies. The purpose is to determine which factors motivate participation and identify employee interests relating to wellness. OCCHD staff will conduct confidential surveys to a random selection of your employees and offer you an executive summary with recommendations to enhance your program.
Health Screenings
The Health at Work Program also provides health screenings for local businesses. We will supply the staff and equipment for your employee screenings. On-site health screenings include:
- Total cholesterol (LDL, HDL, blood glucose)
- Blood pressure
- Height and weight
- Percent body fat
