The Provider’s Role in FIMR
As a health care provider, you may be contacted by the FIMR staff regarding access to medical records as part of the case review process. Health care providers, hospital administrators and medical records staff can pave the way for expedient and efficient data collection.
It is important to understand that FIMR is, ultimately, a method to develop plan to reduce fetal and infant mortality in our community and is not:
- A quick-fix solution to a complex problem
- A research study
- An institutional review
- A system for assigning blame or responsibility for any death
Important Medicaid/SoonerCare Provider Benefits
- Smoking Cessation Counseling
- Prenatal and Perinatal Services
- SoonerPlan Family Planning Waiver
- Oklahoma Health Care Authority Provider Page
